Yesterday proved to be a busy day for Dept

Wellsboro Fire Department, July 24

1 as well as throughout Tioga County with multiple incidents in progress.
Dept. 1 EMS started the day providing standby coverage for a foot race in the Ansonia area in Shippen Twp. and handled a number of additional calls throughout the morning.
During mid day , D-1 was dispatched in Wellsboro Borough for a motor vehicle accident involving a passenger vehicle vs. a bicycle.

Wellsboro Fire Department, July 24

1 and Mansfield Dept. 2 for RIT were dispatched to Box 1-06 in Delmar Township on S. Lawton Rd. for a reported structure fire with flames showing at the time of dispatch.
Upon arrival, Chief 1 reported that the fire at the structure was knocked down and contained, with an active propane tank fire.

Dept. 1 and Dept. 3 ( Elkland for RIT )were dispatched on Sat. morning 7/9/22 at 1:29am to Box1-07 in Delmar Twp. , 50 Wolf Run Rd. for a reported house fire with entrapment.
Engine 1-3 responded with a full crew including Capt. J. McCarthy as incident commander.
Based on initial reports upon responding, McCarthy requested a second alarm.
