Engine 1-1 undoubtedly known as “Casper” was purchased April 24th 1973 from the Williamsport Bureau of Fire. Casper would provide fire suppression services for many years before it would retire from the fire service and at the end of its career provided fire truck rides at the annual Laurel Festival and firemen’s carnival. Casper would be sold at auction in the mid 1990’s and it’s status is uncertain today.
