This weeks session built on our in house training from last week and built upon knowledge of our self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).

Members of all levels of experience were able to perform operations on-air in a simulated smoke filled environment. Several scenarios were accomplished including basic hose line deployment and advancement, Basic search procedures, Rapid intervention procedures including trans-fill operations of a member “Mayday” who was low on air and unable to self evacuate.

Thank you to all members who participated as well as several members who experienced the use of SCBA for their first time.
